About The Trail of Painted Ponies
The Trail of Painted Ponies began in 2001 as a Santa Fe, New Mexico based public art project that explored the inspirational power of the horse. Artists everywhere - emerging as well as established - were invited to let their imaginations run wild and submit original designs that treated the horse as a canvas for creative expression. The best of these creations were translated into three-dimensional artworks - first as life-size, resin sculptures that were auctioned and sold to raise money for various philanthropic organizations, and then as miniature figurines that have become one of the most beloved and bestselling collectibles in America.
With an exciting new line of adult coloring books that gives everyone the opportunity to colorfully interpret the most unique Painted Ponies, The Trail of Painted Ponies is continuing its trailblazing ways...
